On the March of 7th, Computer Networks and Communications Faculty got the AUN’s assessment result. Its Computer Networks and Communications program was scored 4.4 over 7, and officially met the AUN-QA standards.
On January of 23rd-24th, University of Information Technology (UIT) welcomed delegates from the ASEAN University Network (AUN) to assess the program under the AUN Quality Assessment’s Standard.
In this assessment event, the delegates made remarks on the program: the curriculum was structured reasonably, and disseminated fully to stakeholders; teaching methodology was compatible with UIT’s learning outcomes and able to improve students’ ability for a lifelong learning; lecturers were dynamic, enthusiastic to help the students; facility for teaching and learning was modern and well-equipped; IT management system was effective; coordination mechanism between offices and departments was rhythmic; internal quality assurance process was being implemented, etc.
The AUN Quality Assessment, enacted in 2004 by the ASEAN University Network, was aimed at promoting quality assurance among ASEAN universities and towards inter-credit activities from qualified programs between the universities in the Network.
